IT Manager for Strategic Communications team, European Climate Foundation
The European Climate Foundation is seeking an IT Manager, Strategic Communications team; to apply, you must be located in Europe.

At least 8 years’ relevant work experience and education or professional training, or extensive relevant experience in operationally deploying IT systems
Strategic thinking and the ability to scope, design and implement robust IT solutions for remote international teams;
Service orientation and the ability to identify and articulate IT business needs in collaboration with colleagues;
Excellent technical familiarity with configuring and deploying common online communications tool suites, with basic development skills a plus;
The drive to innovate and streamline systems, and the ability to creatively solve problems;
Excellent communication skills in English (both spoken and written), other languages a plus;
The versatile and adaptable skills necessary to flourish in a fast-paced and wide-ranging work environment where remote work is the norm;
An ability to take responsibility and work with minimal oversight;
The disposition to work generously with colleagues in an international, multicultural community of peers, and the ability to work across international norms and values;
A significant interest in climate and the environment;
A passion for excellence.
A track record of managing effective IT support to international teams based in multiple countries;
A strong practical understanding of the challenges and solutions around online security;
Experience managing external service providers and/or a small team.
Flexible work location with occasional international travel (COVID-permitting).
Candidates must be located in Europe.
