For the health and well-being of people and planet, it is time to Democratize wisdom and the access to knowledge while inspiring creativity and imagination.
There is something powerful about a well-informed citizen.
While it appears that there are so many forces that want to maintain their stranglehold on the way we live our lives, the good news is there are more of “us” than there are of “them.” In fact, there are many more of “us”.
Creating a sustainable and regenerative society requires enabling all access to the wisdom of experts.
We are called to be the architects of the future, not its victims.
A Message from the President and CEO
We are delighted and honored to introduce you to our cooperative project, Mobilized.news
A good friend many years ago asked me if I had ever robbed a bank. “Of course not!” was my very direct answer. But he insisted. “If you want to introduce something new to the world, something so revolutionary that it changes the way things are done, you need to imagine yourself as a bank robber. If you go into a bank with a toy gun, the bank wins. So instead, go in with a f*%&ing tank! Assemble the very best team possible, think with a deep strategy, because those that control the system won’t see you coming when you pounce.” He was right on target.
“At a time when the world faces unprecedented challenges, where leaders in business and in governments are failing to serve us, there is something we are called to do.
We must transform from critics to being creators.
But we will have to get out of our individual Silos. We will need to work together like a natural system. And just as Martin Luther King Jr. said:
“The ones who love peace have to learn to organize as efficiently as the ones who love war.”
Imagine collaboratively modeling an ideal integrated multimedia network, a cooperative and complimentary series of social enterprises showcasing the most ethical policies, initiatives and advanced technologies within its very DNA. This includes focus on equality, quality of life, personal growth, individuality, unconditional love, human rights, civil rights, transparency, privacy, accountability and open collaboration.
We already possess everything we need for a sustainable co-existence. Solving our problems and preventing new ones from emerging requires an un-compromised communication network between the various sectors, stakeholders and the general public.
We must free up the wisdom and applied knowledge by creating a cooperative systems that communicate with each other to serve humanity (like the cells in a living body).
The basic wisdom for survival in balance with the natural world and the applied actions must be attainable to everyone at no cost. That’s right. We need to free up the knowledge to solve most of our problems.
Good needs better distribution.
The walls that have been put up can be removed.
What if, through open collaboration and cooperation, we can discover our collective potential to create better sustainable health and well-being for everyone? Our future is cooperative.
An open system for evidence-based innovation for our collective health and well-being
We can build better systems, together
We have all the tools we need to utterly remake society in a fair and kind way. Until recently we lacked only the focus and motivation to begin.
Now, we have both.
There are so many things, and so much effort that has gone into these movements thus far; it probably feels like succeeding here will be the goal in itself.
Our message to you is that the next step will really move us towards our goals. And not to worry, because that step will be far more easy to achieve.
Building new communities of systems and services does not have to involve all the drama of tearing down this present, rotten and dysfunctional system.
It involves ABANDONING it.
No force on earth can prevent us from turning our back, withdrawing our consent, and refusing to drag more stones up the pyramids.
We can trigger a real Renaissance by simply refusing to keep playing the game by the existing rules.
We can design a better system, and people will join it freely. Unlike in the 1960’s, this time we won’t be ‘dropping out’ but then simply moving to another part of the prison. This time, we are not misinformed.
Now, we understand that, we have each other.
When the (Industrial-Aged) systems fail (and they will continue to fail) we will have created the new and improved systems that serve us all…. And, we will still have each other.
And we will succeed. We can’t do it alone. We need everyone. Please join us as collaborators in creation.
