Making it easier to make ethical decisions

While a handful of transnational corporations own and control over 90% of the messages we receive, there is something that we can all do.

We can stop consuming the insanity of advertising agencies whose only desire is to raise money by promoting the imaginary and false idea that in order for us to be happy, we need to be constant consumers.

An organization based in the U.K. called Badverts has created a campaign to enable the dissemination of information to enable people to make better decisions.

How glorious!

As so many of us are doing what we can to get our friends and family to make climate-friendly lifestyle choices, high carbon industries (like SUV manufacturers, airlines, and oil companies) are doing the opposite – they spend £billions every year on promoting their polluting products on billboards in our communities, on television and radio, and and in newspapers and magazines. It’s time to bring these ads down.

Just like campaigners put an end to big tobacco advertising, we’re calling an end to adverts that fuel the climate crisis.
