Term: Full-time, Associate level position
 
Experience Requirements: Master’s degree (or bachelor’s degree + 2 additional years’ experience) in agronomy, social studies, sustainability or related field; Minimum 2 years working experience in environmental conservation field – preference for a candidate with experience in voluntary standard systems and experience working with smallholder farmers groups; 1 year working experience in the cocoa sector. Knowledge of or experience with traceability systems is a plus; Knowledge of innovation, keenness towards technological solutions and their applicability in low-resource settings; Strong research skills and resourcefulness; ability to understand and analyse data in various formats, aggregate information and summarize complex information succinctly; Excellent interpersonal and writing skills with ability to interact culturally, linguistically, and diplomatically with diverse internal and external individuals; Self-motivated, with ability to work independently, under pressure; Strong attention to detail, prioritize tasks and stay focused; Proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook); advanced proficiency with Excel; familiar with the use of IT tools for mobile data collection and/or various farm management applications; Candidates with written and verbal proficiency in French or Spanish are preferred; Ability to travel internationally and domestically (contingent on base-location).
