Position:  Head – Resilient Development Program 
Duty Station: Bonn, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany 
Deadline for Application:21 August 2020
Term:  Two year contract (with a possibility to extend), with a three month probation period
 
Experience Requirements:Masters’ degree or equivalent qualification in Urban Planning & Management, Disaster Risk Management, Climate Change Adaptation and/or Local Development, or similar. Minimum of eight years of working experience related to the above themes. Experience and knowledge of current policies, urban planning and management, state-of-theart in the areas of urban areas and local/regional government and resilience, disaster risk reduction, urban risks and vulnerabilities. An asset to also have experience in environmental sustainability, resilient building construction, resilient urban food systems, GIS and spatial data, climate change impacts and adaptation. Experience in project acquisition and development, preparation of funding proposals, project coordination (including project budget responsibility).
Special Requirements:Due to legal requirements, applicants must be eligible to obtain the appropriate work permit for Germany prior to the start of the position
