Jean Su is the senior counsel for the Center for Biological Diversity. Jean joins us from COP 26 in Glasgow, where she advocating for climate policy with activists from all over the world. We discuss the shortcomings of COP26 as well as the recent infrastructure bill in the U.S. Specifically, the failure to declare a climate emergency and the refusal to invest in proven forms of decarbonized energy continue to plague any attempt at meaningful change. Jean also discusses the imminent impact of climate change on developing countries and prospect of billions of environmental refugees and the moral imperative for those in power to act.
